Overview

Agpro Glyphosate 510 is a Non-selective herbicide for the control of most annual and perennial grass and broadleaf weeds. It is used in pre-crop preparation and general weed control in orchards, farmland, forestry and wastelands. It is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems and is translocated through the plant from point of contact into the root system. As with most herbicides it requires an actively growing plant for best results. The effects of AGPRO Glyphosate 510 may not be apparent for 4-7 days depending on weather conditions, weed species and herbicide use rates. Some perennial weeds may not show effects for 10-20 days.

Withholding

There is no withholding period, however it is recommended to avoid grazing weeds after spraying for 3 days if treating annual weeds and 7 - 10 days if treating perennial weeds to allow translocation of the product through the plant.

Resistance

AGPRO Glyphosate 510 contains glyphosate as the isopropylamine salt. Glyphosate is a glycine herbicide which works by inhibiting EPSP synthase. Naturally occurring resistant biotypes are known to exist and can become more prevalent after many years of continuous or excessive use of this product.
